The commemoration ceremony took place near the monument on the outside wall of the Armenian Apostolic Church Surp Hoki in Amsterdam.

The ceremony was attended by Amsterdam city authorities, the Dutch government, members of the Dutch parliament, as well as representatives of the Yezidi, Assyrian, and Kurdish communities.

Ambassador Tigran Balayan, Deputy Mayor of Amsterdam Rutger Groot Wassink, MPs Don Seder, Caroline van der Plas and representatives of the Armenian community delivered speeches.

Ոգեկոչման արարողությունը տեղի է ունեցել Ամստերդամի Հայ Առաքելական Սուրբ Հոկի եկեղեցու արտաքին պատի հուշարձանի մոտ։

Արարողությանը մասնակցել են Ամստերդամի քաղաքային իշխանությունները, Նիդեռլանդների կառավարությունը, Նիդերլանդների խորհրդարանի անդամները, ինչպես նաև եզդիական, ասորի և քրդական համայնքների ներկայացուցիչներ։ Ելույթ ունեցան դեսպան Տիգրան Բալայանը, Ամստերդամի փոխքաղաքապետ Ռութգեր Գրուտ Վասինկը, պատգամավորներ Դոն Սեդերը, Քերոլին վան դեր Պլասը և հայ համայնքի ներկայացուցիչներ:
